I can’t resist creating visual identities, whether they are for projects I’m involved with, voluntary work or my own hobbies.
I started a book club and built a small user interface where my friends could easily see what we were reading and get information. Since we were reading books in both Turkish and English, choosing the right typeface was important.
Font selection: Amiri – supports both Latin and Latin Extended characters, including Turkish letters. Its elegant serif style also felt perfectly suited to an editorial reading experience.
Colour palette: Marigold orange – Coal black – Sand white
User interface: Figma
